Since Yuletide sign-ups are happening now/soon, and since it was kind of Yuletide that inspired this ficathon in the first place I thought I'd make an official announcement that -

It is my intention to run morepolitics again, early in 2012. Hurrah! (Even if it's only me and neveralarch, who has already expressed interest, writing stuff for each other - that's fine, but hopefully other people are still interested. Are you interested?) Sign-ups should be in January, posting towards the end of February, so start thinking of prompts and clear a space in your diaries :)

Lovely to see you too, dahling :) And oh man YES I am so hoping for Gallifrey Yulefic. Or Benny. I nominated it before seeing that Bagheera had done the same, and now am thinking I have to get my ass into gear and finish listening (in S7 at the moment) so I can volunteer to write it. Because the complete lack of Benny fic on AO3 is a crime and a shame.

SERIES 7 IS THE SECOND BEST ONE AFTER SERIES 8!

you are in for a bernice summerfield style treat (though benny isn't. not a good time for her).

i would also like to run a benny fest i.e. i would also like more benny fic in the world, as there is so little and it is so good. but i really really want some from yuletide (not enough to volunteer, though. just too busy, alas).
